Rumor: Sony Preparing to Make Film Gran Turismo

According to a report from the film site The Wrap, Sony is now preparing to make a film adaptation of their car racing game, Gran Turismo.

Producer who will handle the film's action is the producer of "Fifty Shades of Grey" Mike De Luca with Dana Brunetti. The Wrap also reported that this project will be supervised directly by Sony executives, Elizabeth Cantillon, DeVon Franklin and Hannah Minghella. The film will try to look different from its competitors such as Need for Speed or Fast & Furious.
